Two things changed on this site today, and both are corrections rather than additions. Our policy says material changes get logged, so here they are.
We said our checks came from a UK connection. They did not.
The licence page described its access checks as made “from a UK-facing connection.” That was false. Our checking connection exits in Latvia, and the server that hosts this site is in the United States. Neither is in Great Britain, and we do not currently have a vantage point that is.
The wording is removed. Every access observation on the site now states the country it was made from, and the question of what a British visitor sees is marked unknown rather than answered by implication.
The underlying observation was real: on 16 and 17 August, mostbet.com returned HTTP 451 to us. What was wrong was the label we put on the request, and a site that exists to check other people’s claims does not get to be careless with its own.
The operator’s site opened, and it answers differently by country
On 21 August, mostbet.com returned the full site to our Latvian connection: 200, about 190 KB, catalogue and sign-up visible. The same request from our server in the United States returned 204, an empty response. Five days earlier the Latvian connection had been getting 451.
So the gate moves, and it moves by geography. That is now stated on the review and on licence and safety, along with what it does and does not prove.
What the operator says about its own licence
With the site reachable, we can quote its footer directly instead of relying on affiliate summaries. It names Bizbon N.V., company registration 141081, an address in Willemstad, and states that the site is “licensed and regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (license OGL/2024/597/0249).”
That is the same licence number we read in the Authority’s own register, where the status is assessment in progress and the recorded end date passed in March. Same licence, two descriptions. We publish the register’s.
Register re-checked
The Curaçao register was re-read in its edition of 20 August 2026: entry 337, page 12, unchanged. That makes four editions since May with the same status. Over the same period the register itself is plainly maintained, with two more licences moved to revoked in the six days before that edition, so a still entry is a state rather than an oversight.
The UK Gambling Commission register was downloaded again on 21 August: 2,658 businesses, 2,434 trading names, 2,241 domains, and no Mostbet or Bizbon record in any of them. Our control search for a known licensee still returns matches, so the nil result is a nil result.
What is still not measured
Payments, bonus terms, catalogue and verification are no longer blocked by an unreachable site. They are simply not measured yet. When they are, each figure will carry the country the request came from and the date, because a site that shows different things to different countries cannot be quoted as if it showed one thing to everyone.
