What happens to a bet after you place it, according to the operator’s own General Terms, read on 21 August 2026. Not odds, not market counts, not a tips page: the clauses that decide whether a winning bet becomes money you can take out.
Settlement is promised within 30 calendar days of the official results being published. Winnings go unclaimed after 12 months of account inactivity and become the operator’s property. And only bets at odds of 1.30 or higher count towards the rollover you must complete before withdrawing.
When a bet is settled and paid
| Stage | What the terms say |
|---|---|
| Settlement and payout | Within 30 calendar days of the official publication of results for the last event in the bet, unless other limits are set |
| Displayed results | May change until final: winnings and losses shown before confirmation “could change” once the result is deemed final |
| Statistics in the betting line | Informational only, and not the basis for settlement — official protocols are |
| Unclaimed winnings | Valid for 12 months from your last account activity, then “written off in favour of the Company” |
The 30-day clause is the one to hold on to. A bet you consider won is not late, in contract terms, until a month after the result is official. Anyone quoting Mostbet’s payout speed without that number is describing the cashier, not the settlement.
Odds of 1.30, or the bet does not count
Sports bets feed the deposit rollover only when they settle at odds of 1.30 or higher. Below that, the bet happened, the money moved, and you are no further towards being allowed to withdraw.
Also excluded: cash-out bets, draws, cancelled, refunded and denied bets, free bets, promo-code bets, bets placed with a booster, bets from the bonus balance, and bets covering multiple outcomes of the same event. The last one closes the obvious workaround of backing both sides at short odds.
Miss the rollover and the terms allow the operator to refuse the withdrawal outright or take up to 20% of it as an administrative fee. The full clause is on bonuses.
When a bet can be voided
The voiding powers in this contract are broad, and worth reading before rather than after.
- Obvious error. Bets can be voided where odds or terms were misstated through an error in inputting information, in setting up a market, or through a computer malfunction.
- Third-party provider errors may be corrected after the fact.
- Collusion and syndicates. Defined as two or more players combining knowledge for an advantage. Bets can be voided and funds forfeited, and the definition covers communicating an opinion to another customer.
- Anyone who can influence the event. Bets are not accepted from athletes, coaches, referees, club owners, officials, or anyone acting on their behalf.
- At will, in effect. A separate clause reserves the right “at any time to restrict any Client’s ability to use the Website […] to void any bets, and to forfeit or withhold funds.”
- Money credited in error stays the operator’s property and is deducted, and you are obliged to report it.
Limits, and who sets them
The withdrawal ceilings — EUR 5,000 a day, 15,000 a week, 50,000 a month — apply to sports winnings like any other balance, and the operator “reserves the right to change (increase/decrease) the limits set in this section unilaterally at its sole discretion, including for a specific Client”. A limit that applies to you alone can be introduced without the terms changing for anyone else.
Winnings of EUR 2,000 or more are treated as “big winnings” and wait on a joint verification with the operator’s partners, with no stated deadline.
Tax is yours
“A Client is fully responsible for paying and performing the necessary tax checks, as well as for paying all necessary taxes associated with winnings.” Note the contrast with a Gambling Commission licensee serving British customers, where winnings are not taxed in the player’s hands. Here the contract puts the question on you, under whichever law applies where you are.
Common questions
How long does Mostbet take to settle a bet?
The terms promise settlement and payout within 30 calendar days of the official publication of results for the last event in the bet. Displayed winnings can change until the result is final.
What are the minimum odds at Mostbet for wagering?
1.30. Settled sports bets at 1.30 or higher count towards the one-time rollover of your deposit; anything below does not, and neither do cash-outs, draws, void bets or bets from a bonus balance.
Can Mostbet cancel a winning bet?
Yes, under several clauses: obvious error in odds or market setup, computer malfunction, an error passed on by a third-party provider, suspected collusion, or a general right to void bets and withhold funds at any time. There is no independent appeal below the EUR 1,000 ADR threshold.
What happens to winnings I never withdraw?
They expire. Winnings and refundable bets are valid for 12 months from your last account activity, after which they are “written off in favour of the Company”. A dormant balance is also charged EUR 50 a month until it reaches zero.
Which sports does Mostbet cover?
Its navigation listed soccer, tennis, horse racing and dog racing as headline categories on 21 August 2026. We cannot give you a market count or a margin comparison: the sportsbook pages themselves were closed to our connection, and we do not copy figures from other affiliate sites.
What we did not measure
No odds comparison, no margin analysis, no market counts, no live-betting latency. Those require an account and an open sportsbook, and on 23 August the operator’s pages returned HTTP 451 to our connection again after being briefly open.
Everything above is contract text captured while it was open, from a connection in Latvia. The sports rules document referenced by the terms was not reachable at all, so anything that lives only in it is absent here rather than guessed. The licence position is on licence and safety, the settlement and withdrawal rules on payments, and the conclusion they all feed into in the full review.
